Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookies

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup butter

1 cup cane sugar

1 cup light brown sugar

2 eggs

3/4 cup sourdough starter

2 tsp vanilla extract

3 cups all purpose flour

1 1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

2 cups dark chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1: In a stand mixer with a paddle attachment, mix together the butter, cane sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Step 2: Add your eggs, sourdough starter, and vanilla. Mix until well incorporated.

Step 3: Add your flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Mix until well incorporated.

Step 4: Fold in your chocolate chips.

Step 5: Preheat oven to 350 F.

Step 6: Roll cookie dough into a ball about 2 to 3 tbsp. Place on a cookie sheet that is lined with parchment paper about 2 inches apart.

Step 7: Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes or until golden colored around the edges. Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool down and then enjoy!
